Part Time on site position located at corporate office in Gloucester City, NJ 20 to 25 hours per week.
Monday - Friday, flexible schedule.
SUMMARY Coordinates billing, accounts receivable and collection activities, ensuring an accurate accounts receivable system for Holt Cargo Systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Responsible for collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past due accounts, maintaining cash receipts 2.
Reconcile and provide account statements to customers for collection efforts 3.
Responsible for accuracy and corrections to customer accounts, reconciliation of revenue accounts, verification of deposits, and postings to accounts receivable 4.
Problem solving with various internal billing departments for errors in customer billing 5.
Review disputes and processes allowances/credits to reconcile errors 6.
Create credit memos as needed 7.
Prepares bank deposits and posts to accounts receivable 8.
Arrange payment terms with customer for release of containers 9.
Develop a positive working relationship with customers 10.
Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 1.
1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable and/or billing department 2.
Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel (V-Look Ups), Lotus Notes, Outlook.
3.
AS400 experience preferred; but not required.
4.
Ability to professionally work with a high volume.
5.
Must clear background screening and required drug & alcohol testing.
6.
Ability to work well with others in a team player atmosphere.
