Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our client's team.
Reporting directly to the Dispensary General Manager, the Assistant Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dispensary, maintaining compliance with state regulations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations of the dispensary, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service.
Train, mentor, and motivate retail staff to provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.
Ensure compliance with state and local regulations governing cannabis retail operations.
Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash reconciliation.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail environment.
Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for improvement and implement operational enhancements.
Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.
Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and POS software.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
